Online Driver Improvement Course

DMV-approved, self-paced 8-hour course. Complete from home.

Our online driver improvement course is the same DMV-approved 8-hour program we teach in person, available from any computer with an internet connection. You work through the material at your own speed, take chapter exams along the way, and your completion is reported to the Virginia DMV within 24 hours.

The course covers defensive driving strategies, Virginia traffic laws, the DMV point system, distracted driving, and managing risk on the road. It satisfies court-ordered requirements, DMV referrals, insurance requests, and voluntary attendance for safe driving points. The cost is $100.

This is a white-label third-party course offered through Abba Driving School. Abba has been a DMV-certified driver improvement clinic since 2011, with thousands of students and a 100% pass rate. The online version uses the same curriculum and carries the same DMV certification as our in-person classes.
